Inspired by the concept of continuing the legacy of courageous entrepreneurs, the idea took root in 2022 and became a reality in 2025. With the right resources, timing, and a vision shaped by personal and professional growth, Collita Ventures aims to acquire and elevate a company where legacy and innovation thrive together.

ANA LIA'S STORY
Leader, mother, entrepreneur
Ana Lia Barragan Echenique left her home country of Bolivia at the age of 19 in pursuit of greater opportunities.
With just a couple of suitcases, she boarded a plane to Germany, embarking on an adventure that would teach her resilience, problem-solving, and the ability to always see the bright side.
Since then, she has lived in Germany, France, China, and the USA, building a successful career in project and product management where she led initiatives in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. Ana Lia is a results-driven leader with expertise in leveraging data and cutting-edge technology to drive business growth. Her career has been marked by a consistent ability to optimize processes, streamline workflows, and embed data-driven decision-making across organizations. Her unique blend of strategic vision and hands-on problem-solving has allowed her to craft innovative solutions that align with overarching business goals.
Ana Lia's corporate career culminated in building a Data Science team of six from the ground up and leading them to uncover critical data and deliver insights that drove business growth. Her leadership, grounded in empathy, transparency, and clear communication, fostered an environment where her team was empowered to achieve their fullest potential. Having achieved this milestone, she has now transitioned to focusing full-time on her self-funded search for the right company to acquire and transform.
In 2024, Ana Lia embraced one of her biggest challenges yet: becoming a mother of two children under the age of three. Juggling the demands of parenting two young daughters and a full-time leadership role honed her ability to manage everything from feedings and diaper changes to playdates and doctor’s appointments—all while maintaining focus on her professional responsibilities. Her experiences have also provided a renewed sense of clarity about her priorities and a commitment to showing her daughters that with effort and perseverance, any goal is achievable.
As life’s rhythm slows down in the future, Ana Lia looks forward to rediscovering her love for historical novels, watching mainstream movies, and enjoying long walks in the woods with her husband.
